About Flanders Road Services
The Lokere family has been active for over 80 years and has therefore become a key value in the transport sector.
It all started in 1934, when Arsène Lokere founded the “General Transport Company Lokere” as a coal merchant and transport company in Hooglede. In 1971, grandfather Arsène’s activities were continued by four sons.
Since then, the company has been taken over from generation to generation and is growing steadily and gradually. In the year 2000, the Lokere family introduced the new umbrella organization name “Flanders Road Services”.
This warm-hearted family organization is now led by Bram Lokere, who can still count on the support of his father, Joseph, and his mother, Myriam.
In 2005, as part of its further development, the company moved into the Zeebrugge transport zone. Centrally located, close to the port, and ideally located to optimally serve both large and smaller customers.
